The Zoo!

We have taken a couple of trips to the zoo lately.  We only go for a couple of hours at a time (this includes sitting and eating lunch) so we have many more exhibit to cover!  Reece's favorites continue to be the train, tour buses, and trucks (such a boy!) and so far mine has been feeding the giraffes!

Waiting for Kayla and Grace at the entrance.  I love Reece's hair in this picture (he is most definitely taking after Grandpa)!
This is the Balboa Park Train.  When Reece sees it he lights up and makes his "vroom-vroom" sound.  Aaron, Reece, Kayla, and Grace took a ride on it recently.  Aaron said that Reece enjoyed it, but for now it is definitely more fun to watch.

Reece loved watching the brother grizzly bears play together, and we
got a great view of a polar bear hanging out in the water.
Watching the flamingoes and ducks.
The resident peacock came walking straight toward us and then made a detour into the bushes after stopping and looking at Reece for a moment.  Reece was all smiles!  I wish I could get both the animals and Reece's reaction on camera, but it's hard to do when I'm solo!  For now, you get the stroller as proof that Reece was there :)
A llama also took a few minutes to check Reece out.
The "Bobcat" was more interesting to watch than the elephants receiving a pedicure (which is what I was watching), but the elephant up close was captivating!
Hanging out watching the orangutans hang out.
Here are the giraffes that we fed.  It went by quickly, but it was so much fun!

Enjoy!

Papa and Nana

We were so grateful to have Papa and Nana visit us this past weekend.  We miss them and all of our family dearly.  Thank you for making the journey down to see us.  Thank you also for the pizza, maintenance, love, and smiles!

We love you!

The Beach!

The weather warmed up recently (a lot!) and so we had the perfect excuse to visit the beach.  Kayla and Grace joined us and we had a great time sharing lunch, digging holes, playing in the ocean, and eating sand :)
What a day!
