Having fun at Crossfit Convergence! Reece and Elle are always so good when I am working out, especially now that there is a DVD player, play kitchen, and play CF equipment in the kids area. They also know that when I am done they get to "workout" too. Their favorite exercises are swinging on the rings, hanging on the bars, rowing, and throwing lacrosse balls out back.
I am so grateful for Crossfit!
We spent a Saturday morning riding bikes downtown and along the Embarcadero.
Trip to the zoo with Jordan, Katherine, and kids!
Dakota and Sawyer spent a weekend with us while Ramon and Tara ran a race in Temecula. The kids had a blast playing together, and DK and Soy took very good care of R and E!
We celebrated Reece's fourth birthday two weeks early at the Corvette Diner with family and friends. Reece was thrilled and would have been content ending the celebration here... however, his party continued throughout the month!
Papa and Nana visited the following weekend... and they brought more gifts!
We celebrated Papa and Reece's birthdays with Nana's cookies and milkshakes... and of course we had to sing to ElleBelle too!
Papa and Reece spent most of the weekend building Legos together.
Nana made GG's famous tacos for us... yum!
Papa and Nana walked Reece to school with us before they headed back home.
Reece started writing letters!
Reece and Elle are always excellent patients. Whether they are at the doctor, dentist, barber, etc. they always listen attentively and comply. This was Elle's first trip to the dentist. Reece went first and was such a great example for her to follow. Dr. Edge is also gentle and kind. Elle jumped right in the chair and let her count, clean, and floss all of her teeth. Way to go, Elle!
How do you say goodbye to a dear friend? My best answer is that you don't.
The Hents were all sick towards the end of their stay here, so we missed spending time with them as they prepared to leave. In hindsight, it made their departure much easier on us. I guess our goodbye felt more like a "see you later". So, that's what I am planning to do... see you later (hopefully sooner), sweet friends!
Reece had preschool the day before his official birthday. Originally we planned to give out homemade crayons, but Mrs. Kelly shared that the kids always bring a treat to share on their birthday. So Reece shared crayons AND Oreo Pops with his classmates. He had a fun day at school and came home with this great hat!
To top off all of the celebrating, Aaron and I took Reece on a birthday adventure on his official birthday. Elle got to play with Greyson and Wyatt while we were away. Thank you, Priscilla!
First things first, a birthday morning gift.
