August was the perfect summer month! Elle turned two, and we were fortunate to have family here to celebrate with us... along with all of our friends!

We decided to make a spur of the moment trip up to Manhattan Beach for the weekend. The guys (Aaron, Ramon, Sam, Uncle Tim) spent the day completing their fantasy football draft while the girls (Me, Therese, Tara, Aunt Amy) and kids played. Uncle Tim and Aunt Amy treated us to both lunch and dinner, and were amazing hosts. Thank you for the fun weekend!

Nap-time... Elle loves to nap in Reece's bed, while Reece loves to climb under our covers and fall asleep in his 'cave'.
We went to our neighbor, James, birthday party at Glorietta Bay Park. We finally convinced Reece to get in the water! After this trip Reece ran around in the waves at the beach for the first time this year.

We ended the month with a family trip to the beach, complete with Pringles. Life doesn't get much better!
