 When Elle wakes from her nap she often screams for me.  I asked her to reenact where I find her standing each day.  Silly girl!

Village Elementary Harvest Hoedown

The kids loved having their faces painted and playing a few games.  Reece even won the cake walk!  Fortunately, we were able to pick out our own treats... chocolate-chip cookies!

Visalia for Thanksgiving

We were happy to have the Hents join us!  They are moving to Virginia Beach soon, so it was extra special to spend time with them.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We headed up into Sequoia National Park for an overnight trip with the Hents.  First stop, Moro Rock!

Reece climbed the ~400 steps up, and Grace climbed them down.  What troopers!

We stopped to look at the Buttress Tree and drive through the Tunnel Log on our way out.

We thought it was going to snow while we were in the mountains.  Fortunately it didn't, but the kids were happy to find this small, leftover patch!

Saturday we headed to the General Sherman Tree, and then headed back down the mountain after (with a quick stop at Reimers for ice cream on the way!).

 

Such a great trip with such great friends... we are sure going to miss you, Hents!
