Easter in Visalia, a visit from Grandpa and Grandma, and a fun preschool art show were April's highlights!
Permanent dye with two toddlers = naked and outside!
HAPPY EASTER!
We headed up to Visalia two days before Easter. Saturday, Papa and Nana had everyone over for an egg hunt.
Nana continued her tradition and gave everyone a new swimsuit.
Ready for the egg hunt!
On Easter morning we made sure to bring along our treats, as well as Grandpa and Grandma's.
This is how Elle came down the hall in the morning. She must have tried to take her shirt off in the middle of the night, and who knows where the Goldfish came from?!
We spent Easter Sunday at Uncle Sammy and Tia's house.
The egg hunts continue!
First swim of the year!
Love!
Sweet Elle picked up a bee that was walking on the ground and learned a hard lesson about nature. She cried more because she was sad the bee hurt her than because of the pain.
Counting to 100 using pennies. They received a dollar for each completed chart, and then got to go to the 99-Cent Only store to spend it (they only completed one each... we'll do it by 5's and 10's next time for dimes and nickels).
Friday night pizza is a new family tradition
Grandpa and Grandma visited! We were fortunate to be a stop on their way to Hawaii.
Our first beach day of the year. We met up with the Woodalls, but this is the only picture I have.
Elle said she was sick, so she needed to watch f#@! ball. Silly girl!
Reece is getting really good at listening to sounds in words and identifying their letters.
We found a new park in Solana Beach with an ocean view!
Coast Kids Preschool Art Night
I made Reece sit up on the counter to take this pic with his art in the background. It was a little high, hence the look of fear on his face.
We had In-n-Out after to celebrate a successful art show.
Elle continues to grow more independent, and is usually naked when we are home.
Reece started dressing himself in the morning. Yay!
